Joel DeJong

Regenerative Transformation Lead

As a leader in regenerative transformation, Joel has helped numerous organizations make the shift towards symbiotic enterprises that mirror the systems of life on the earth. He holds a certification in Awareness-Based Systems Change from MIT and has served in consulting roles for some of the most well-known tech brands in the world.

Additionally, Joel's background as an entrepreneur in the healthcare industry has given him valuable insight into the holistic nature of business. He’s received training in the Way of Council and Mirroring from the Animas Valley Institute, and has a solid foundation in Jungian psychology, which has contributed to his extensive leadership training.

Joel's passion for sustainability extends beyond his work as a consultant. He is currently the Chair of Cheasty Trails and Bike Park, where he is leading the charge on a restoration and trail initiative for a 43-acre wood in SE Seattle. With the help of his team and thousands of volunteers, they have already planted over 17,000 plants and trees, and developed an extensive trail system that provides urban access to the woods. In addition, they are running a mountain bike pilot project to evaluate the feasibility of mountain biking in Seattle's parks.

Another project close to Joel's heart is his role as founder and director of Crowdsource Choir, a drop-in choir that uses musical harmony to create social harmony. Joel firmly believes that communal participation is a crucial element in transforming businesses and fostering vibrant communities. He describes himself as a visionary cultural artisan with a sole purpose…to awaken the choir.
